Our Termite Control Options
Free Termite Inspections
Determining if you're dealing with termites in your home can be trickier than you may think. These pests rarely emerge above ground and they don’t make a lot of noise, so their chewing can't be heard through the wooden beams within your walls. Additionally, the signs that they leave behind are usually hidden in locations that you wouldn’t think to look in or that don’t have access to.
At Mid America Pest Control, we offer free termite inspections. Our technicians are experts at knowing what to look for, and where to look, when it comes to termite damage. Our thorough inspection will determine whether you have a current termite problem. This information can then be used to help you make the best choice between termite treatments and prevention options.
Professional Termite Control Treatments
Here at Mid America, we offer two treatment plans for dealing with termites:
Termidor®. As Termidor® certified professionals, our team of technicians here at Mid America Pest Control are specially trained to apply and monitor the Termidor® termite defense product. A liquid application is applied around the foundation walls of your home, creating a continuous barrier. Termidor is completely undetectable to termites, so they’ll encounter it and pass it along to other termites in their colony without realizing it. Termidor® will work to eliminate current termite infestations and prevent future infestations from occurring. While Termidor® is a long-lasting termite prevention treatment, follow-up visits to ensure that the barrier hasn’t been broken are recommended.
Advance Termite Bait System. The other termite treatment we offer is the Advance Termite Bait System. This system works through the strategic installation of bait stations around the perimeter of your home. During termites' natural foraging excursions, they will find the bait which is more appealing than the wood structures within your home. They will then alert the other workers to its whereabouts and also bring the bait back to their nest, eliminating the entire colony. The Advance Termite Bait System also has a monitoring system that alerts our technicians to termite activity. This allows us to eliminate those termites before they have a chance to establish themselves in your home.
When it comes to termites, taking steps to prevent them in the first place is far better than attempting to eliminate them after they’ve already gotten into your home and repair the costly damages they've inflicted.
